after col scott claimed steven was gay she came onto the forum to do battle with the col.
she dated steven in high school i believe or soon after high school.
she passed away at some point in the last 10 years i believe
she was a sweet lady r.i.p.
what year was this do we know?

Hey Matt!

Great to see you, as always!

I'm almost certain, this parole hearing was held in December of 2000.

Upon further research, it seems that BretG had offered several excerpts from this parole hearing in the past... so, this footage of Janet Parent may not be new to everyone... but, it's definitely new to me.
I had never seen it.

It's impossible to be everywhere at all times, and catch everything... but, we try... LOL

Interesting none-the-less...

I'll never forget the night you contacted the blog on August 9th at midnight... following your "flashlight anniversary tour" of Spahn's!
That was truly one of the most classic LSB3 moments ever!!

Hi Matt! Hi Lurch!

Steven's sister should have read from the Grand Jury testimony where Susan referred to Steven as an "it in the car".

Bugliosi said "by saying "it", are you referring to a human being in the car?"

Susan "yes".

If she said she has no regrets, then I hope she took that to her grave.

You know, for Susan to refer to Steven Parent as an "it" or a "thing", it kind of gives us passage into a mindset that is unthinkable. It's like trying to pry open a glass with your forefingers that is unyielding.

It reminds me of what Jenny said a few threads back.

"It didn't matter if pigs died....they were going to die anyway".

That statement from Jenny has really helped me try to understand this mindset.

Charlie had preached this "race war" for so long that it became ingrained in their minds. Even those who came after the arrests. Jenny affirmed that.

For anyone to say that there is no such thing as "brainwashing" is ludicrous.

Because there is. And we have witnessed it with this case.

that is one good thing bill nelson did, he got the families of the victims all riled up. it was only mrs. tate for the longest time, then nelson started calling the families.
