Paul Crockett

I received the following email yesterday...

Here are a couple links you might want to include on your lsb3/Manson site:

My blog entry last year upon learning of Paul Crockett's death Jan. 10, 2014:
http://garyerichardson.com/2014/02/22/paul-gaylord-crockett-1924-2014/

A 1975 Psychic magazine profile of Crockett:
http://garyerichardson.files.wordpress.com/2013/06/crockett-profile001.pdf

I spent a few years with Desert Sun beginning with a series of in-depth interviews with Crockett, Brooks Poston and Paul Watkins at Shoshone immediately after the T-LB-trial gag order was lifted in 1972. I moved to Tecopa after that to be with the group for a couple years.

I am working on my "memoiry" of that period and the roles of drugs, sex, rock & roll—with a particular interest in the use of psychedelics, especially LSD—in manipulating individual and group consciousness.

Cheers,

Gary

I've been on hiatus.

A quick "Hello" to all the folks who participated on the previous threads, and a belated "Happy Birthday" to Leary!

I stumbled on Gary's blog some time back. He has some pics of Barker Ranch from 1974 as well.

Thanks Gary!

Well, I'm watching the Aquarius series, and as we all suspected, it SUCKS. Manson, et al all have a southern drawl. WTF? And David Duchovny tries to come across as a cross between Thor and The Incredible Hulk!! 'Nuff said about that!!

Secondly, the great Cielodrive.com has a new tape recording of Horse Teeth talking to her lawyer in 12/69. I haven't heard the whole thing yet, but she does mention that she heard that Hinman was "wealthy" and they wanted to take his money to buy dune buggies, but of course he wasn't wealthy and so Bobby just offed him. Which supports my theory that there was NO DRUG BURN PERIOD.

More later....

Lastly, but certainly not leastly, I have Bret's Manson Family Today website on the Wayback Machine. I've had this address for years, and I've guarded it selfishly, but now that it's been made public, I'll relent and let you know what it is. The Wayback Machine doesn't retrieve videos or pics, but there is still a lot of info to be found there.

I have the greatest respect for Bret. He was a tireless sojourner, developing a website to give as much info as we could possibly handle. He was a HERO. He was MY hero. Please peruse these articles carefully, and without judgement. Because that's what he would have wanted, and that's what he did.

Bret gathered all kinds of information for us to read, he never judged, he never gave an opinion, "just the facts". And he paid for all of this information. He advertised it on his website, plus he lists bibliographies for his references!

May he rest in peace, and finally know that he gave us more than we can imagine....

Katie,

Thank you so much for sharing this!! I missed Bret's site altogether-it went down before I 'discovered' all Manson-related sites. This is awesome, thanks again for sharing!

You're welcome maudes. I wish the whole website was still intact but there is still quite a bit of info left.

I also wanted to mention that the Cielo Drive website is just as awesome as Bret's was. Lots of good info that has been stored for our reading and listening pleasure. Thanks Cielo!!!

Hi Maude's Harold.

Are you still operating your TLB website?

I'm just curious. I don't make the rounds that much anymore.

Hey Lynyrd,

Great to see you! It's not my website, it's Christine's--I just helped out.

With the bonanza of info shared in TLBlandia in the last couple of days, I've been posting today!! lol As well as reviewing "Aquarius."

I've been busy with my health issues as well as my dad's, so I don't post as much, but I'm still there.
