Las Vegas LAPD Homicide Convention
They had the actual car used in the Tate La Bianca murders, the rope, the Beatles' White Album, crime scene photos, gun and fork used in the murders on display.....plus a letter written by Charlie while in jail awaiting trial... ENJOY!

Thanks so much Kimchi. That must have been quite a lot to take in.

THANKS for sharing!!

Hey Lynyrd, isn't that the car used on the "grocery shopping trip"?? The one without a backseat.

LOLOL!!

It was exciting and interesting! I couldn't believe they had the car...the car was detailed (LOL) as best as it could be but nasty inside...all those stains..LOL I saw the dune buggy years ago at the Pomona Antique Auto show and swap meet but didn't have a camera! It was ugly.

Kimchi, it looked pretty ragged out inside. The exterior didn't look bad, except for some rust.

That must have been really interesting to go there!

What else did they have beside the car, rope & fork?

Kimchi I'm just curious. Who owns this stuff? Wasn't all this booked into evidence? Was someone able to buy it?

That's a great question.
I just assumed the LAPD.
That's just a guess.

If you do any reading at all about this event... you'll see the Kennedy's went nutzoid, because the shirt president Kennedy was wearing (the day of the asassination, sp?) was displayed.
I mean they real went crazy!

I really don't see the big deal.
I mean, after all, it's just a shirt.
We've seen the guy's head completely blown apart 1,000 times, on film... how does a shirt compare?
And, after all these years?

Am I being callous?
Maybe if it was my family member I'd feel differently.
As a thrid party by-stander, I'm just not seeing the major significance of a shirt.

I definitely think that if it was your family, you'd blanche at the thought of it.

I really don't think any of the Tate/LaBianca families are hanging around at this convention. HA HA.
