I can't tell you how many times Mrs. Fullbug wears a mink coat when we go to the beach.
And she can still fog a mirror.
It seems that Jay & Cami were married for 3 years. I don't know why they divorced. Does anyone else?
From what I've been reading, they "grew apart". That's ambiguous. There has to be more than that!
LMAO!Matt has always been good with the one-liners.
I didn't realize "Jay Sebring" was even married."Should I start about how I first met Jay? I had been going to 20th century fox studying acting and there was an actor that we became friends and he was going to go to the "master" and have his haircut by Jay Sebring and I went over and sat in a chair, all of a sudden when I looked I saw two wedding bells chimming over Jay's head, I had never experienced anything sort of like that in my life. 2 weeks later we were married.we lived in this apartment that was over his shop, it was good for a while but when he found 9820 Easton Drive house in Benedict Canyon we both fell in love with it" - Cami Sebring (born Bonnie Lee Marple) "Cami Sebring was young when she married — just 17 — and separated three years later. But she and Jay remained friends." (I'm guessing "Jay Sebring" was a good bit older than 17 but I don't know, I'm not an expert on the victims).--Los Angeles Times"Cami Sebring" apparently had some movie and TV roles. She appeared in the 1967 Disney film "The Gnome-Mobile". I can barely remember hearing about that movie when I was a kid but I never saw it. It apparently had the 2 kids in it from "Mary Poppin's" "Cami Sebring" apparently played the role of "Violet", she can be seen near the beginning of this clip, she's apparently the one in the purple dress--The Gnome-Mobile
Thanks, Katie & Lynyrd. Good to see you again...
Thanks Sunset. I'd love to see an inside tour of that house on Easton Drive.
Wow, Lynyrd & Matt! It’s kind of like Bruce Wayne & Batman, or Clark Kent & Superman, you never expect to see them at the same time…😁
Same here, Matt. Great to see you again too. It's been a long time. Hope all is well...
Jay and Cami were married two weeks after meeting each other?Wow... talk about a "whirlwind romance".What year was the wedding?
The Maid of Honor isn't too bad on the eyes either..."Vic Damone was the Best Man".Any relation to "Damone" from "Fast Times"? LOLhttps://www.imdb.com/title/tt0083929/mediaviewer/rm2938225665?ref_=ext_shr_lnk
LMAO!I think they got married in 1960.
Well Katie, only on a soap opera, does something happen like what happened today on B&B. I won't ruin it by not saying anything in case you have not seen today's episode.
Beauders, I saw today's episode and I wasn't really sure what I was watching. I'm guessing that Finn's mom is in some kind of hotel room, not sure. But it also looked like she has Finn set up in the bedroom in a hospital bed surrounded by machines that beep a lot and he's still alive.No. 1, he must be re-negotiating his contract because he has the option to come back to life.No. 2, how dumb is this? No. 3, how in the world did she get all that hospital equipment in her hotel room? No. 4, is she medically qualified to keep a comatose patient alive? No. 5, how far does a soap opera push the limits of reality?
Lynyrd, Venus e-mailed me and told me to tell you that Jay & Cami were married on Jay's birthday, October 10, 1960. And she also told me to tell you "HI"!
Hi Venus!Sign-up for a new Google account and get your butt on here!
What year was Sebring born?I'm trying to figure-out how old Sebring was in 1960, when he married 17 year-old Cami...
So what exactly made Sebring's haircuts so revolutionary?I mean, a man's haircut is really nothing special.I've seen Frank Sinatra and Steve Mcqueen. Those guys didn't look any different than any other dude walking around at that time. You can go anywhere and get that haircut. It's amazing how Sebring made such a name for himself just cutting hair.Nowadays, a barber is a nobody. You'd probably have a better chance of getting laid as a firefighter or plumber.
Well Venus could explain all that better than me, but I think he was the first guy to use a blow dryer on men. LOL.But he must have been good at what he did because I think some movie stars were flying him to their location shoot for haircuts.
Was his popularity due to the blow dryer he was using in the shop, or the "blow" he was selling out the back door???(That'll get some comments) LOL
Venus e-mailed me this:Tell Lynyrd they were married on Jay's 27th birthday. VERY common then to have an age difference because men were supposed to support their families and the wife was supposed to be a housewife and raise the kids. (That's a "general" statement, it was pretty common in my family tho)Jay's haircuts were very original. Before he started, men basically had crewcuts or had greasy slicked back hair. Jay started the idea of men having shampoos and blow dries. He's supposedly the 1st person in the US to use hand held blow dryers. The earliest one I remember using was in 1973, it was called "Purr." It had a comb attachment. As far as I remember, the comb was literally attached. So Jay started a whole new industry. If you want a comparison? Check out Floyd's barber shop on "The Andy Griffith Show." He had photos of crewcuts etc on his walls, never washed his customers hair and so on. People like Frank Sinatra and Steve McQueen had totally different looks once Jay started doing their hair. Jay would dye their hair. For example, he lightened Steve McQueen's hair in the late 60's and many people (including myself, because I never thought Steve McQueen was attractive) thought he looked great in that film. The name of it escapes me at the moment but his costar was Faye Dunaway. It was "The Thomas Crown Affair."
Venus, thanks! And get a G-mail account. It's easy and you can come on here if you want to!
I know I've probably said this before, but years ago, I was at a friend's house and her brother was visiting her on vacation from CA. He was studying at the Sebring Institute of Hairstyling. He offered to "cut my hair" It wasn't just a haircut, he measured all parts of my scalp, from the forehead to the nape of my neck, each side to side. And he cut my hair based on his measurements. It was the best haircut I've ever had because the next day I was able to style my hair like he did without his help. That cut eventually grew back out, and I've never had a haircut as good as that one.Just sayin.....

Katie are you near the latest tragedy? I feel very bad for all the parents. If I was a parent I would not send my child to a public school, it's just not safe any longer.
I watched my mother suffer through the death of my oldest brother. Gregg died from a heart attack while having seizure. He was 44 with a wife and children. I asked my mother once would it have been worse if someone murdered my brother and she said yes it would make it multiple times worse because it wasn't necessary. Thank goodness she didn't live to see my other brother's death also to a heart attack, that would have killed her, I believe she would not have been able to live with Duane's death and would have took her own life. People who feel we need to have legal guns need to figure out a way to keep guns out of the hands of the crazy and the indoctrinated online to hate. If they don't then they are going to lose their guns, even if it 20-30 years in the future. This cannot be allowed to happen anymore.
Beauders I'm about 90 miles from Uvalde, Texas where this tragedy happened. I've been watching the local coverage of it. I think the total of dead children is now up to 19. Any adult who would shoot and kill a child is a big fucking COWARD!!! And I'm not one to go around saying if people are going to hell or not, but I have a feeling that if the last thing someone ever does on Earth is kill children, that someone is burning in hell right now. You're right about guns. Crazy people shouldn't have guns or access to guns.
Jim Morrison had some great hair, so he probably wasn't much of a challenge for Jay Sebring.
