What do we know about this case? Absolutely nothing! All we have is gobbley-gook from different family members, from "experts", from victims, from the DA's office, and from Manson himself.
Manson claims that he had nothing to do with these murders. There are lots of people who believe that. And there are a lot of people who don't believe that.
But let's look at the facts!
Manson says Tex was responsible for the murders. But if you want to say Tex Watson was responsible for the Tate/LaBianca murders, you first have to look at Gary Hinman's murder. Tex had nothing to do with that. It was Bobby. So how does that work? And of course, Tex has a very different story. According to him, he's Mr. Innocent. Do you believe that?
Manson sent Bobby over to Gary's to get money. End of story!
Bobby claims that when he told Manson that Gary said he didn't have any money, that Manson said "you know what to do". That means nothing. I think Bobby killed Gary because he was scared. I think that when you hold a guy hostage for 2 days, and someone comes and slashes his ear, and that hostage is saying he will call the cops, you cave and kill him. I don't think that Manson told Bobby to kill Gary. But Bobby felt the pressure.
It's interesting that Bobby wrote "Political Piggy" on the wall. Who came up with the word "Pig"?Charlie never said write the word "Pig". He played the Beatles "Piggies" on the record player, but he never told anyone to use that word in particular.
But that was the word they used, over and over again. Another clue?
I've watched several programs on Charles Manson, and he spends a lot of time doing "double talk" that he is so famous for, and denying any involvement in these murders.
Was he telling the truth? Or was it just another Charlie Manson con?
I really wish that Charlie had spilled his guts before he died, because when he died, the truth died with him.
We will probably never know! The only thing left now is to just keep arguing certain points according to your beliefs!
