I love your blog! It's been very valuable to me in the creation of Manson's Girls. I wrote the lyrics for this show which will have it's world premiere at the Hollywood Fringe Festival less than two weeks from now. If any of you are in the Hollywood area I would be pleased to give you free tickets.
The musical covers the month between the arrival of Linda Kasabian and the murders. It is meant as a cautionary tale rather than an exploitation piece, as we see Linda sliding down the slippery slope from hippie to murder accomplice. It is not a comedy, though it has it's ironic moments.
There is a rock and roll score performed by a live band accompanying a dozen snappy songs like "Every Day I Fall In Love" (Squeaky's ode to Charlie) and "Helter Skelter" (the finale where the whole family revs up their bloody engine for revolution). Even Sharon Tate has a star turn.
Here are some marketing materials you might find useful if you decide to do a post about the show. Feel free to contact me, I'd love to chat with you!
Thanks a bunch,
