  7. Stormsurge the Gamecocks are gonna whoop up on your Hurricanes.
    29-27 Gamecocks

  8. Hope they do. Hope they win 80-0. Anything to get Al Golden out and Butch Davis back in. But, I believe that Al has at least one more year with us.

  9. Stormsurge I watched a replay of your FSU game. Looked like you beat them three times.
S Carolina's issues are lack of speed on D and lethargic offense.Gamecock defenders are getting ready to try and stop your RB Johnson.

  10. Team had FSU beat but our HC I am convinced played not to lose. Inexplicable guy our HC. We got significant problems on our DL and really throughout our defense. We got some weapons on offense but the team has been demoralized since that FSU game and lost by big margins to Pitt and Virginia. A lot of people down here want Golden gone.

  11. I'm struck by the similarity in problems you describe on D. We will go to a prevent defense with a lead and lose the game. We have some big guys on DL but they can't get off their blocks and pressure the QB nor can they pursue. DL lacks speed. Spread offenses and hurry up offenses have neutralized many DLs unless the lineman can run. Fans here wanted Spurrier to run for governor last year but now they want him gone

  12. The Gamecocks are one of the biggest disappointments of the season. They were preseason top 10 by most accounts...

Nobody was expecting the U to do much right away under Golden. He came into a mess and a pending investigation hanging over him. for about his first two years nobody knew what would happen.Hard to recruit like that...

Spurrier has underachieved with this team.

The new system is better but still no good.

How can Ohio State get in with the worst loss of all the teams under consideration for the final spot?

At home no less- to an un-ranked team...

Ohio State is the 4'th best team in the country right now with a 3'rd string QB??

FSU is undefeated, defending National Champs and they only rank 3?

The second to last poll- TCU jumped two teams including FSU- then in the final game of year- TCU wins by 50 and two teams including FSU jump back over them??

I am glad they are doing a playoff- but they should have stuck to the old formula to pick the 4 teams....

Unless Condy knows more about Football than the coaches, writers and the computers

  13. Although VA Tech didn't look too bad today...

    :)

    Happy Bowl season...

  14. I nearly got the score right. It was 27-24 South Carolina.
    I had predicted 29-27 Gamecocks.
The game reminded me of the type of football you saw back in the early 1970s ACC interconference games.
Miami was a tough team to run on.

Stormsurge I'm not picking on you but here is an interesting foto about your defense in the Duck Bowl yesterday.
I was also surprised yall kicked it deep after your last TD instead of going for the onside kick.
Earlier in the game your OL seemed ticked that coaches weren't running the ball enough.

  16. Now you know why we call out DC 'onofrio leaving out the D. I'd rather have a band of drug crazed hippies coach our D than have our current staff. Game adjustments would make much more sense with Tex and Sadie running things.

  19. I'm a Catholic. First and always a Catholic.

In my way of looking at the world, no human being should ever suffer unbearable pain.

But I guess they do suffer unbearable pain, in which it is up to the rest of us, to reduce suffering wherever we see it.

    Happy 2015! Peace.

  21. Thank You Tom.

    Well said Brother!

    You ROCK!

  22. I think that suffering is our greatest teacher. So that is why I like bad people. They've gotten past pretention. They're not worried if you like them. They've 'been there done dat'

You tell the next bird what you know.

  23. Off topic comment, apparently Donna Douglas who played the role of Elly May Clampett died on new years day.

"Donna Douglas, who played tomboy Elly May Clampett on the hit 1960s sitcom The Beverly Hillbillies, is remembered by the only living original cast member, Max Baer Jr., as being “Elly May until the day she died. Baer Jr. played Elly May’s cousin, Jethro, in the series and says she always attended events dressed the part. She was Elly May until the day she died,” Baer told the website RumorFix."

I guess Max Baer is the only one of the Hillbillies still living, hard to believe.

  24. I would say that the Beverly Hillbillies was my favorite program in the 60's and M*A*S*H was my favorite program in the 80's and Seinfeld was my favorite program in the 90's.

If you give me a minute, I'll tell you my favorite program of the 70's. This old brain of mine don't work as well as it use to.

    I don't know why.
