Boy, love really DOES need a walking cane and sunshades. LOL.

What a shame that her fairy tale didn't have a happy ending. And I'm not just talking about Manson. She wasn't treated the way she deserved to be treated by Roman. He wasn't worthy of her affection and devotion. I think in the end she realized that.

I think she realized it too. No matter how much you love someone, there can always be a breaking point and I think his cheating had finally gotten to her. Even if she really didn't care (which I don't believe), she was being made to look so foolish and I think she was realizing it.

Love is blind and marriage is an eye-opener. I agree, Venus, that Sharon was tired of looking like a fool. Roman even cheated with one of her best friends, Michelle Phillips, and everyone in their circle probably knew it.

GACK! She is wearing REAL FUR!

How many animals perished for 60s Hollywood vanity?

Her figure is 'almost flawless'? Almost? What flaws are there?
I think that coat is fake, but what do I know.
But i think it's sad that 'a compliment' is implied in thinking a woman is younger than she is. I remember an advert for har dye, it was set in france, god knows why, but it had a woman in a dress shop, back to camera, and the male assistant came up and said, in French: 'Can I help you , MADEMOISELLE?" And the woman turned with an indulgent smile, he saw she was in her 40s and he said; 'Ah, pardon, MADAME"
I sometimes think of this. To the French, that's an insult, to call a mature woman a girl (although since it meant the dye made her hair look young, the message was confusing. You'll get young hair, you'll be young from the back?")
Why can't it always be like this? This stuff does make me glad I am not American. i have met girls of 27 who think they are old and past it and undesirable. And don't get me started on this business of no pubic hair...
anyway, nothing to do with the subject. It's just sad, that's all. An actress of 25, but ooh, she looks 16.and that's a compliment. Roman Polanski wouldn't thank you for saying that about him. Still, say it about his wife..actually, 13 would be more like, the raping cocksucker.
