The Broken Fence

When police officers arrived at the Tate house on the morning of August 9, they noticed damage to the fence bordering the parking lot.

From the Tate Homicide Progress Report:

"Officers noted that the split-rail fence which runs to the north of the garage area was broken, and that scrape marks appeared, on the curb directly in front of the split-rail fence. The scrape marks and the break in the split-rail fence appeared fresh. A search of the undercarriage of Parent's car revealed similar scrape marks and concrete transfer. The rear bumper of the car also showed white paint transfer similar to that as on the split-rail fence."

The picture below shows the parking area of the Tate house. The broken fence is in the background.

The question I have in my mind is how and when did the damage to the fence occur?

I would say a guy who in total at Cielo delivered 85-90 stab wounds is definitely capable of 150 as opposed to Bruce who didnt stab anyone with the exception of 1 or 2 superficial wounds on Shorty, i still dont think either one of them killed either Jurvetson or Habe though

Well if you divide the stab wounds by 4 then it lowers the stab wound totals. You can stab one person 150 times, and 4 people 36 times. 4 x 36 = 144. Less than 150 stab wounds.

To stab one person 150 times is like a marathon stabbing routine.

Anyway, this conversation is all moot because there is no proof that Bruce stabbed anyone else but Shorty.

But, it doesn't mean he didn't.

Hi Bobby!!

I've always wondered why Charlie's parole officer didn't seem to have a clue as to what he was doing. Or just didn't care.

Hi Bob,

I'm pretty busy these days, but I must admit, it would be a lot of fun.

I think Starship and Matt Prokes are local too.
If I'm not mistaken, Starship is near you, and Matt is in RI.

That would be a surreal experience.

LA, I thought it was ironic being held at WATKINS GLEN being the lesser known concert of the time. I haven't seen a line up of the band's as of yet. I dont actually know if I would go. Like you say it would be a surreal experience. Stay busy my friend.

Line up ; a bunch of names I never heard of plus a few the old originals mixed in. Oh well.

Our thread about the Watkins Glen concert was always, and still is, one of my favorite blog posts on this website.

It hails all the way back to 2011.

If I remember correctly, Bob had told us that his older brother had attended the concert.

I didn't know anything about the concert really, so I started digging.

The facts and statistics that I found when I started researching, were quite astounding.

And, our "Watkins Glen" thread resulted from that research.

Here's a link to the original thread:

http://www.lsb3.com/2011/03/i-was-researching-famous-watkins-glen.html

The facts and statistics contained there-in (regarding the show) are impressive.

I had also posted accounts from actual attendees (in the comments section), which were equally impressive.

I never felt that the topic got as much attention/conversation as it deserved.
As I said, although it was off-topic, it was one of my all-time favorite threads, spawned by a conversation with one of my all-time favorite bloggers.

Check it out!

For real... if you're into stats and history regarding things like Woodstock or Haight-Ashbury... you'll definitely "dig it".

I even gave the thread a quick "facelift" for the reboot. LOL

Peace!
