This woman is 100% RIGHT!

Last night on "Justice", Judge Jeanine Pirro explained how the Republicans are "in bed" with the Democrats, and it's ALL one big crooked "establishment" game. A MUST WATCH!

I love that lady, plus I love her dress!

She's right, the Republicans are in bed with everybody. They're afraid of Trump because he threatens their cushy lifestyle. The hard working middle class Americans are being trampled by this mysterious force that is made up of atheists, illegals, people who scream "racist", "sexist" and "homophobes". Hard working Americans' rights are just disappearing.

We need a President who will unfuck this mess that's been created by our current President. He has caused more angst in 8 years than we've seen since this country was started in 1776.

This is our country people. We need to take it back!!! For our children's sakes!!!

I'm sorry Katie, but you're wrong.

This mess started WAY before Obama.

This mess started 16 years ago.

George "W" Bush was (by far) the worst President I've seen, in my entire lifetime.
Richard Nixon himself, inflicted less damage on this great nation.

Bush brought this country to it's knees.
We were on the threshold of our 2nd great depression.
It was EASILY the worst economic times I've seen, since my birth.

If the Republicans want to blame ANYONE for "destroying the party, and setting them back 100 years", they can blame "W" Bush... NOT Donald Trump.

Bush destroyed the Republican party (and this nation) WAY before Obama ever came along.

After Bush left office, this country was in ruins, and NO Republican candidate had ANY chance at election. ZERO.

Bozo the fucking Clown, could have easily beaten ANY Republican candidate 8 years ago... and, that's a fact Jack!

After "W" Bush, the voters were DONE with Republicans... and they still are!

I'm not a fan of Obama, but he's definitely better than "W" Bush was...

On a scale of 1-10, I'd rate Obama a 5... and Bush a zero.

LynyrdSkynyrdBand said...

I agree, that our country is a mess.

But to say this mess started 8 years ago (with Obama's election), is just not accurate.

When Obama started his first term, this country was in complete shambles!!!

Honestly, I don't know why anyone would have even WANTED the President's job, 8 years ago!

It was sink or swim 8 years ago!

The only thing "south" was another "great depression".

Love him or hate him, the fact that we avoided another "great depression", is to Obama's credit.

Things suck right now, but they COULD be even worse!

The media is a big problem here too. They focus on Trump 100%, and don't even report on Hillary Clinton, who should be in prison.

I first realized how sick the media was back in 1969, when the victims were murdered at Cielo Drive. The media went crazy, saying that the victims were all drug addicts, members of a satanic cult, and holding crazy sex orgies.

I guess that made us feel "safe" back then, but in December of 1969, we found out that NONE OF THAT WAS TRUE.

Fast forward to the NOW.

The media focuses on Donald Trump and ignores the foibles of Hillary Clinton. The e-mail scandal, the Whitewater scandals.

THE WOMAN SHOULD BE IN PRISON!

She's probably paying her illegals double time to start trouble at Trump's rallies. They make $1.50/hour instead of $1.00/hour.

katie8753 said...

Lynyrd, OBama is the skinflint that makes me pay $650/year to the IRS as punishment for not having "affordable" health insurance. And every year it goes UP!

LET'S MAKE THIS CLEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

katie8753 said...

This "Affordable Health Care" shit would cost me $500/month in premiums, with a $5000 deductible. $500/month x 12 = $6,000/year for NOTHING.

But as a hard working American citizen who pays taxes, I have to pay a PENALTY of $650 to the IRS.

That's not George Bush who said that. It was that current guy that I won't even say his stupid name.

katie8753 said...

And anyone who thinks they're immune from this punishment, think again. If you lost your job this year, the current Pres has his hand open to get your money for punishment for not having insurance.

katie8753 said...

And Hillary will just open her piggy bank to suck all your money out of your wallets, purses and pockets.

She's a fucking thief.

katie8753 said...

George Bush did NOT create my nightmare. That current idiot did. the same fucking idiot who is in Cuba right now, shaking hands with Communists.

katie8753 said...

Our Mus-slime President wants all the Syrian terrorists to come here. Why? Because he wants them to vote for Hillary.

And they don't have to pay the punishment fee for not having health insurance.

WHY? Because THEY DON'T PAY TAXES! PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

katie8753 said...

How can you say that's Bush's fault????? It's got nothing to do with Bush. It's ALL on the fucking democrats, including our 某一場演出.

katie8753 said...

If Hillary gets elected, she'll make new penalties that hard working tax paying Americans have to pay.

If you spit on the sidewalk, or step on a crack, or eat meat, or buy a designer dress, or go to a movie, or buy McDonald's, or go to Sea World, or stop at an antique shop, or buy a car, or make a deposit, or go to Barnes & Nobles, or move to the country, or buy a horse, or cross the street, or laugh and make a side crack, or have fun. It will ALL be against the law. And you will pay her personal piggy bank!!!

katie8753 said...

And THAT IS NOT BUSH'S FAULT! IT'S HER FAULT!

katie8753 said...

They're bulling me. IF YOU DON'T HAVE INSURANCE, THEN PAY UP!

Just like the Mafia.

Lots of poor Americans signed up for that bullshit thinking they could finally go to the doctor, but they found out they had deductibles and co-pays and couldn't afford it. Now they're just paying premiums and not going to the doctor. The insurance companies win, thanks to Obama.

Some Americans found out that they gambled on the Affordable Health Care website. They estimated their income but if it was more, the OWED the government money.

Thanks Osama!!!

LynyrdSkynyrdBand said...

I'm sorry Katie, but you're wrong.

If you don't like "Obamacare", that's fine with me.

"Obamacare" is not my policy, and I agree that the healthcare system is horrible... AND crazy expensive (even WITH insurance!).

If you don't like Obama, that's cool with me too.
I didn't vote for the guy.
In fact, I voted against him twice.

But, to say that Obama started his Presidency with a great economy, is complete nonsense.
Nothing, could be further from the truth.

The economy was in ruins, when Obama started.

Things were so bad, I thought the man was crazy for even taking the fucking job.

George "W" Bush destroyed the economy long before Obama even started, and Obama did his best to pick-up the pieces.

That's not my opinion, it's history.
You can't rewrite history.

Hopefully, Trump will do an even better job, of picking-up the pieces.

LynyrdSkynyrdBand said...

If you're telling me the economy was booming in 2008 (following Bush), you're plum crazy.

Believe me...
If Bush had been president for the last 8 years, you wouldn't even have a job to pay the $650 penalty with!!

Eight years ago, people were wondering where their next paycheck was coming from.
At least now, most folks have steady employment.

It's amazing how quickly people forget...

Richard Nixon himself, inflicted less damage on this great nation.

Well, Mr. L. you said in your entire lifetime,(up to this point) W was the worst. I guess you remember Nixon. Please give specifics as to your reason for "W. the worst".

Based on pure malice and destructiveness, here are the top villains, most of course not in our lifetimes.

1. Ape Lincoln, destroyed the original constitution, provoked a war that killed 700000 Americans.
2. Woodhead Wilson, The FED, WW1
3. Franklin D. Rosenfeld (third rate character, fourth rate intellect)provoked wars to save his buddy Stalin.
4. JFK, the boy president nearly fried the world,he started Vietnam war, had his brother RFK murder the troubled and childlike Marilyn Monroe.
5. LBJ, Murdered JFk, signed destructive civil rights laws, escalated Vietnam, signed the destructive 1965 immigration law which has achieved it's purpose displacing white Americans from their own country.
6. Winston Churchill, honorary U.S. President, of sorts. Anyway he was a real bastard and a psychopath who helped engineer the U.S. into both WW1 and WWII. Had the RAF firebomb Dresden and the not so mighty U.S. 8th Air Force joined in with glee.
7. Bill Clit-ton, Murdered Ron Brown, Murdered Vince Foster, took bribes from Bin Laden and let him escape, serial rapist, thief, member of Dixie Mafia, burned alive innocent white, black, and brown children at Waco Tx... (I'm limited in space)

Nixon stopped the Vietnam war. Based on LBJ's stated goals in Vietnam, Nixon won the war. He lost it at home to the fifth column of communists (Democrats) in congress and on college campi. Started affirmative action quotas of which Obama benefited.

W. was a piker compared to the six presidents listed above and too much in love with Messkins, didn't seal the border, started unnecessary wars with the sand niggers.

Obama is the dumbest president. Granted he has nigger street smarts, but little else. Added to the mess with the sand niggers that W. and H. started. Destroyed the US economy. Real unemployment rate is about 15 percent with GDP around two percent and that is faked.

I see Brussels today is enjoying their DIE-versity. Ain't the vibrant ones great?

katie8753 said...

There are LOTS of people who have lost their jobs in the last 8 years. Factories have closed, small businesses are belly up.

And to add insult to injury, a hard working American who loses his/her job will be PUNISHED for not having health insurance. So in addition to trying to make ends meet and try to find employment, that person has to find a way to pay the IRS additional money as a PUNISHMENT for losing his/her job.

And BTW, illegal aliens don't have to worry about the punishment, they are excluded. Only hard working, tax paying Americans have to worry about it.

Why are they even here anyway??

katie8753 said...

Terrorists attack Brussels. Our stalwart Commander delivers his pat speech:

Good grief Katie, that is quite a re-writing of history you are attempting in regards to the shape of this country 8 years ago. Facts are facts and what you are offering are not facts.

Look, I'm an elected Republican who is no fan of the current President but I'm not so blindly partisan that I am going to ignore the reality of what has occurred in the last 8 years. Do we have major problems in this country? Absolutely. Are we in a better place as a country than we were 8 years ago? Yes, demonstrably so.

It would appear that your partisanship and economic difficulties have blinded you. How unfortunate.

LynyrdSkynyrdBand said...

SurelyYouJest11 is correct.

LynyrdSkynyrdBand said...

Hi Surgio,

I have to be honest with you, I don't even read your posts at this point.

katie8753 said...

Surely said: Are we in a better place as a country than we were 8 years ago? Yes, demonstrably so.

Well Surely, we must be looking at different angles. A better place than we were 8 years ago??

(1) We have illegal aliens streaming into this country by the boatloads. Some of which are terrorists from Syria.

(2) The fabric of decency and morality has been ripped to shreds. We can't say anything anymore without being called a "racist, sexist, homophobe" or any other "neuvo label" people are using.

(3) Policemen can't do their jobs without being afraid of not only (1) facing a gunman that could take his life but (2) pulling over a "black man" for breaking the law and getting punished.

(4) We have sex offenders being able to be in charge of the Boy Scouts of America.

(5) We have "transgender" people who try to influence young people to change their sex.

(6) We have terrorists in this country who have more rights then anybody, and are allowed to (1) buy illegal weapons and (2) post rants on social media that, if they're tracked, it's "violating their privacy". No one can track their actions because it "violates their rights".

(7) We can't even make a law that says any voter needs a photo ID. Because that's RACIST! How is that racist? All you need to get a photo ID is a birth certificate. But if you don't have one, it means you're illegal. Period.

(8) Hard working Americans are being punished for not having health insurance, illegals aren't (I've been over this).

(9) Teachers aren't in charge of their classrooms anymore. The kids use phones, chew gum, wear provocative clothing, and disrupt the classroom and THERE IS NO ACTION ALLOWED. Teachers and schools are going to be a thing of the past.

Without cops or teachers, we will have martial law. I don't think you want to get into that action.

Years ago, they made movies about this stuff, and I never thought it would come true. But it's happening as we speak! We'll all have to be home by sundown, lock the doors and pray....

katie8753 said...

And BTW, I never said the economy was better with Bush. What I'm talking about is above. When Bush was President, the banks got greedy and loaned money to people who weren't qualified for loans. Then the new Pres had to bail them all out.

Now whether that's Bush's fault or not I don't know, but I'm not referring to the economy being better under Bush. I'm referring to the above.

Fair enough Katie,

If you feel that list of issues supersedes the problem of a complete economic collapse, then your previous blanket statement may be construed as accurate.

BUT For ME, the most important issue (besides nuclear annihilation) is ALWAYS, to have a roof over my head, and food in my stomach!

The ONLY President (in my lifetime) to truly endanger my "roof" and "food", was Bush.

When you're rating Presidents, that's a hard combo to ignore.

================================================

For the record, your initial statement was:

""We need a President who will unfuck this mess that's been created by our current President. He has caused more angst in 8 years than we've seen since this country was started in 1776".

If you rate the country's economic health as Job #1 (which I do), your statement is not accurate.

Evidently, we have different priorities.

katie8753 said...

Oh thanks Lynyrd. I guess you like the current bandito that's installed in the seat of El Presidente. I guess you don't care what happens to future generations of children who (1) are urged to be queer and (2) want to join a gang and/or turn queer.

Our current "Commander in Chief" is currently ensconced in a communist party mansion, smoking illegal cigars and drinking mojitos, while innocent people are being bombed in Brussels.

But who cares? As long as they're having fun and you have a job. Right???

HA HA HA HA.

LOL at Maudie's comment above.

Katie, Neile has always said that Steve (not her) was invited to Cielo on Fri. nite by Jay when he cut Steve's hair on Thurs. Steve ran into someone of the female persuasion and he decided to spend his time elsewhere. I wonder why she's now changing her story? Was this a recent show?

katie8753 said...

Oh thanks Venus. She might have said Steve was invited, I thought she said "they" were invited. My bad.

I think it's strange for anyone to invite people to Cielo Drive that night, since Sharon was not even supposed to be there. She had planned to go to Sheilah Wells' house, but changed her mind.

Venus said...

And this leads to the question--would Jay have been with her? When she talked to Sheilah she told her that she was tired, etc. and that she and Jay were just going to get burgers. How did the other 2 get invited for Mexican food?

They were about to get booted out, I'm assuming when Roman came back, whenever that was supposed to take place. Ahh-hem....

I'm wondering which car they took to El Coyote? The Camaro, the Firebird or the Porsche? None of those cars have good backseats. They must have been on top of each other. LOL.

Off topic comment:

The attack in Brussels reminded me of the attack at the Boston marathon. 2 brothers were apparently involved, and the killed and injured in both attacks had severe injuries to their legs indicating a large explosion close to the ground.

The explosive used in the Brussels attack was possibly TATP "Tri Acetone Tri Peroxide". I looked it up, the ingredients are easy to purchase at many stores. Hair bleach hydrogen peroxide, nail polish remover or just plain acetone at a hardware store, and muriatic acid that you can buy for $5.10 per gallon at Lowes. The mixture is highly unstable, after you mix the chemicals, you need to put it in a refrigerator for the crystals to form a less dangerous compound. The people that build these bombs call it "the mother of satan" because it is so dangerous to work with. This compound doesn't contain nitrogen which is what bomb "sniffing" detectors pick up.

I ran across what is possibly a graphic video of the aftermath of the attack outside the airport. The vid is pretty graphic, it depicts injured and possibly killed people, if you are interested, it can be seen-->HERE.

This attack also apparently caused a great deal of disruption in the air travel at that airport. A website called FlightAware, showed the radar tracks of planes that were scheduled to land there, but had to circle before being rerouted to other places. People that were trying to fly into that airport had their flights canceled, and were stuck in the airport they were in for quite some time.

Gibby & Voytek ?.....they were semi-permanent house guests who never seemed to really leave (lunch with Sharon and her friends that day). They were harder to get of than cockroaches

From the first Tate Police report ¬>"The Polanskis left Los Angeles at the end of March. Prior to leaving, they invited Wojiciech Frykowski and Abigail Folger to live in their house......Frykowski and Folger accepted the Polanski invitation to stay at their home until their estimated return sometime in early August of 1969. They moved into the Polanski home on the 1st of April and used the east bedroom located in the main part of the house (Addendum 1B).
When Frykowski and Folger moved into the Polanski home, they invited Witold Kaczanowski to live at their house on Woodstock Road.....Frykowski lived on the money which was provided by Folger through her inheritance......"

They were house guests by invitation. They had their own house that they lived in together and money certainly wasn't an issue for them. I've never come across any evidence that Sharon wanted them out and they wouldn't leave.
At the risk of seeming pedantic, they didn't have lunch with Sharon and her mates that day either. The Police report states that "at 1230 hours, two guests arrived at the Polanski home, Joanna Pettit (Mrs. Alex Cord) and Barbara Lewis. They are established friends of Sharon's and the general conversation was concerning Sharon's pregnancy and the expected baby. They had lunch with Sharon, served by Winifred, and departed about 1530 hours. While Mrs. Pettit and Lewis were dining, Abigail Folger and Wojiciech Frykowski returned to the house and conversed with Sharon and her guests (a general household conversation)" which was confirmed later by the paining man, Frank Guerrero and David Martinez, of whom it is said "he went about his
gardening work and observed Frykowski, Folger, Polanski, Pettit and Lewis in general conversation about the house." In her court testimony, Winifred Chapman says lunch was with Sharon's buddies, not the dynamic duo of Gibby and Wogiciech.

You ask me to leave and I'm outta there, but they seemed to linger

From the same report ¬> "The first of June, 1969, Mark Fine, an actor friend of Frykowski, came into the city from New York. He was
due to make a movie in Hollywood. The first part of July, Frykowski offered Fine a room at his Woodstock house. Fine accepted and moved
in the first of July. Approximately one week later, Frykowski learned that Sharon Polanski was coming home from Europe the 21st of July.
He and Folger intended to move back into their Woodstock house and began moving clothing into the house."

They were about to get booted out, I'm assuming when Roman came back, whenever that was supposed to take place. Ahh-hem....

And yet more from the report¬> "On July 21, 1969, Sharon Polanski returned to Los Angeles. She arrived before her husband Roman due to the fact she was 7½ months pregnant and travel was becoming difficult. Roman Polanski was due to arrive in Los Angeles on August 12, 1969.
Sharon Polanski asked Folger and Frykowski to remain on at her home until Roman returned from Europe. They agreed and remained in the
bedroom they had been occupying during her absence."
They were due to leave Cielo sometime within the next few days as Roman was due back 4 days after he spoke with Sharon on the 8th. Your comments could be construed as painting a scenario where these two leeches who were freeloading had outstayed their welcome and wouldn't leave but as soon as big Rome returned, they were gonna get theirs....
I think all the Trump talk has put you in fight mode !

katie8753 said...

Thanks Grim. I was actually just kidding, but I do believe that Doris has said that Sharon felt uncomfortable with Voytek & Gibby living there and really wanted them gone. They were obviously taking drugs and it probably made Sharon a little fearful. Roman made a comment after the murders that he should have run them off, or at least Voytek. Doris didn't like the upside down flag they put on the couch for a joke, but Sharon just wanted to wait it out for them to leave instead of confronting them about it.

Yes they were invited to live there while Roman and Sharon were gone, but I think that once Sharon got back, she was ready for them to leave.

The reason I mentioned questioning when Roman was coming back was because he kept giving excuses why he had to remain in England.

In Helter Skelter, page 84, this is what is said about lunch August 8th:

About 2 P.M. Abigail purchased a bicycle from a shop on Santa Monica Boulevard, arranging for it to be delivered later that afternoon. About the same time David Martinez, one of Altobelli's two gardeners, arrived at 10050 Cielo and began work. Voytek and Abigail arrived not long after this, joining Sharon and her guests for a late lunch.

I took that to mean they all had lunch together.

grimtraveller said...

katie8753 said...

Doris has said that Sharon felt uncomfortable with Voytek & Gibby living there and really wanted them gone

That's odd; they obviously had their own pad and had started moving their stuff back. Abigail was due to be in Frisco on the 9th with her Mum so she obviously had free movement, while she and Wogiciech were quite able to shift their house sitters at will. There doesn't appear to have been any advantage to them living at Cielo that was sufficient to keep them there at their own behest. I can't recall where I read it right now but I read somewhere that they were asked to stay on until Roman returned. Depending on how long Abigail was due to be with her Mum, there's a possibility that she would have never returned to live at Cielo.

They were obviously taking drugs and it probably made Sharon a little fearful

Did she feel that way about Jay Sebring too, I wonder ? But I don't believe drug taking made her fearful. There were the remains of a joint in her room !

Roman made a comment after the murders that he should have run them off, or at least Voytek

Sounds to me like him being wise after the event. After all, had he said to them that it was time to leave, what were they going to do ? Refuse ?

katie8753 said...

Well Grim, maybe they weren't moving back fast enough. How long does it take to move? Sharon came back in July. What was there for them to move? Clothing, toiletries, Gibby's music on the piano? I'm sure the furniture, pictures, dishes, towels and food all belonged to the Cielo Drive house. I know Voytek's "art friend" was living at the Woodstock house, but how long does it take to get him out? Can't these people stay in a motel or something? All of these people seemed to have money, but kept sponging off each other when it came to living quarters.

Neither Sharon nor Jay had drugs in their systems upon autopsy, but Gibby & Voytek both had MDA. Do the math.

As a first time mother about to give birth, I'm sure that Sharon wanted a "sterile environment" for her child to be born into. She was in a protective mode. She had baby furniture and had the nursery painted. I'm sure she didn't want her baby to be brought home during a "drug party" thrown by Voytek.

And Gibby had already told her psychiatrist that she was ready to dump Voytek for his drug taking ways. It concerned her. We know that Voytek was meeting with Canadian drug dealers. Why? I don't know, but maybe he thought he could FINALLY find a job selling drugs, since he wasn't hireable at anything else.

Sounds to me like him being wise after the event. After all, had he said to them that it was time to leave, what were they going to do ? Refuse

Voytek was a longtime friend and since Voytek's Dad helped Roman get started in film making, he felt he owed him. But I guess hindsight is 20/20.

Hey man, this is just my opinion.

katie8753 said...

Now, having said all that, if Gibby & Voytek had moved out, I think that Sharon & Jay would still have been killed. I think Cielo Drive was the target that night. A target assigned by Charles Manson.

He likes to ramble now about how he didn't care about being in the music business, but back then, it's pretty evident that he really wanted it.

katie8753 said...

In fact, the only person in this whole mess who really owned a home was Jay Sebring. Everyone else was either renting or sponging. What's up with that???

beauders said...

Katie is right Mrs. Tate said Sharon wanted them to leave in the two interviews nelson did. They were the one where he was so insensitive to Mrs. Tate and the one he did with ed sanders. Roman also said he should have kicked out frykowski when ran over Saperstein during his polygraph exam.

How long does it take to move when you've been asked to stay on ?

All of these people seemed to have money, but kept sponging off each other when it came to living quarters

That's one way of viewing it. Another way is that it was the free movement of the times. After all, Wogiciech and Gibby were at Cielo by invite. They in turn let their pad at Woodstock by invite. It's analogous to the crash pad scene actually, and the way that there were so many open doors. Even looking at Susan, Clem and Linda after they didn't kill Saladin Nader, what did they do and where did they go ? They went to smoke weed at the house of someone Susan knew. You might think, well, nothing unusual there, except that it was in the twee hours of the morning. There just seems to have been an all pervading atmosphere among many young people to share, houses, pads, drugs, lovers, cars....

Neither Sharon nor Jay had drugs in their systems upon autopsy, but Gibby & Voytek both had MDA. Do the math

I didn't say Sharon did. Jay had coke and weed in his car. Sharon had the remains of weed in her bedroom ashtray {I'm not saying it was hers}. Hollywood and the rock scene were two of the main places you'd find drugs and drug takers and one of the last places you'd find young people with an anti drug stance. I wouldn't be surprised if Sharon didn't want drugs in her house but I don't believe she was in fear of drug taking. Unless she was planning to discard most of her circle and that of her husband.

I'm sure she didn't want her baby to be brought home during a "drug party" thrown by Voytek

The baby wasn't due on August 12th was he ? Overriding everything that we are saying is the fact that both house guests were due to leave 3 days after the murders.
In the Steve Parent thread, Lynyrd mentioned Steve as being the poster child for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. One could just as easily hang that one on Gibby and Wogiciech, especially when you consider Gibby in particular was supposed to fly to Frisco the day she died.

grimtraveller said...

And Gibby had already told her psychiatrist that she was ready to dump Voytek for his drug taking ways. It concerned her

As you pointed out, she had MDA in her system. Sharon's manager commented that she always appeared stoned. I was going to ask you where you came across the bit where the psychiatrist speaks about her dumping Frykowski {breaking Doctor/patient confidentiality ?} but I remembered in the film that the cops were given by one of the early suspects of the dinner party with Folger, Frykowski and Witold K, she makes a few gestures and comments about her disdain for his drug habits.
It's hard to draw a conclusion about her and any real disdain for drugs.

Voytek was a longtime friend and since Voytek's Dad helped Roman get started in film making, he felt he owed him. But I guess hindsight is 20/20

Well, it strikes me as a statement of Roman's that makes no sense whatsoever unless he was saying that the deaths were somehow because of Wogiciech. The only thing that I can say about it in Roman's favour is that he took the polygraph long before it was known who the killers were and therefore he was grasping in the dark at this point, which is understandable.

Hey man, this is just my opinion

As is mine. But opinions should take into account that which is factual where possible. It seems odd to me that a well off person with her own pad like Abigail would sponge off Sharon Tate when she had been invited to house sit and asked to stay on until Roman's return. Wogiciech seems to have been a serial sponger but he focused his sponging at that time on Abigail.

Now, having said all that, if Gibby & Voytek had moved out, I think that Sharon & Jay would still have been killed

Yeah. The irony of Folger & Frykowski being asked to stay on until Roman's return was so there would be a presence {a protective presence, of sorts} in the house in Roman's absence.

He likes to ramble now about how he didn't care about being in the music business

I don't believe him when he says he thought Dennis Wilson was a slave to the biz and he didn't want to be in it. Why make demos if you don't want to make recordings ? Why get upset over your song being changed and royalties not being paid ?

In fact, the only person in this whole mess who really owned a home was Jay Sebring. Everyone else was either renting or sponging. What's up with that???

Was it that unusual for people to rent ? I'm reminded of the situation over here where not that long ago, everyone young that I knew that wasn't living at home rented. Rents were pretty reasonable. Housing associations were in abundance. Buying was what you did once you "settled down."
It's kind of different now.

Grim you keep harping on "they were invited to stay". Don't you think an invite wears out?

And let me tell you something from personal experience. When a baby wants to be born, it comes whether you expect it or not. No doctor, mother, father or anyone else can predict when a baby comes.

Yes, I do.
But not if you are given a date by which you are allowed to stay until.
That's why I keep pointing out that they were asked to stay until August 12th. According to the police report, this was after Sharon returned from Rome. Had that not been the case, it would be perfectly reasonable for Sharon to think they had outstayed their welcome.
That all aside though, I'm actually more intrigued by the implications of what Doris and Roman said. It's almost as though they're implying that without Gibby & Wogiciech's presence, what happened wouldn't have happened. Because what difference would it have made if Roman had kicked the couple out ?

And let me tell you something from personal experience. When a baby wants to be born, it comes whether you expect it or not. No doctor, mother, father or anyone else can predict when a baby comes

Couldn't agree more. My first child was 3 weeks "early" and the second a week "late." Although I don't actually think in terms of early, late or on time, I find stats interesting at times. I read that in 2000 only 5% of babies born in the UK came on their actual due dates. Although most of us know that due dates are only a guide rather than an exact pinpointing, it's interesting how many of us are nonetheless guided by the due date and speak in terms of the baby being early or late.
I dug what you were saying though; Winifred Chapman testified that there had been a party at Cielo on August 1st though it wasn't clear whether it was a Frykowski freak out or a gentle Sharon get together. She did say that caterers were brought in though and she wasn't present which might lean it towards the latter.

If you don't like "Obamacare", that's fine with me

I take it then that Obamacare is not the same as our National Health Service here ? We pay a thing called national insurance which is taken out of our wages before the money ever gets to us so one never notices it. It's like tax. The taxman gets it so it's never a bother. You can still have private medicine if you want it {there are plenty of medical insurance schemes} or can afford it but basically, whenever one turns up to the Doc's or the hospital here, no one ever mentions money. If you have a heart attack or burst an appendix or need a leg amputated or have a wild tropical disease, you get treated till you get better. Whether it takes two days or 200. Free at the point of use is the famous phrase.
The worst part of hospital here is the food !

I first realized how sick the media was back in 1969, when the victims were murdered at Cielo Drive. The media went crazy, saying that the victims were all drug addicts, members of a satanic cult, and holding crazy sex orgies

Alice Cooper once said "the sicker you kids get, the better shows we'll give you."
One could almost apply that to the relationship between those that lap up the news and those that provide it.
It seems that the 1960s going into the 70s was the time that concepts regarding "news" really altered permanently. In 1964 it never made the news when John Lennon was photographed on his hands and knees outside a brothel in Amsterdam. Did anyone even talk about President Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe in 1962 ? Or Martin Luther King's supposedly being caught on tape in the clinches with some woman circa '63/'64 ? But as the lives of 'celebs' became more and more felt to be public property {"hey, we put you there !"} publications realized that salaciousness = $$$s.
Now they make TV shows about powerful figures committing murder to hide such indiscretions.
That said, not everything the media hinted at in the early days of TLB was completely out to lunch.

I think it's strange for anyone to invite people to Cielo Drive that night, since Sharon was not even supposed to be there. She had planned to go to Sheilah Wells' house, but changed her mind

You're right, it is strange. When did Sharon let Sheila know she wasn't able to make it ? Reason I'm curious about this is because she asked Winifred Chapman if she wanted to stay over for the night.
That was one significant "no thank you."

katie8753 said...

Grim, I don't know what time Sharon told Sheilah she wasn't coming over, but I feel sure it's before she asked Mrs. Chapman to stay the night. I don't think she would have asked her if she wasn't going to be there.

That poor Mrs. Chapman showed up for work and saw that carnage. She got so scared that she disappeared for a while. I don't blame her.

And to top it off, she lost that income. She had been working for Sharon before they moved to Cielo Drive. She worked for Sharon while they were at Patty Duke's house. I don't mean to sound crass, but income is income. And when you lose a customer, it hurts financially.

Venus said...

I don't know when Sharon told Sheilah she wasn't coming. I know that Sheilah said she called Sharon to tell her that neighbors were complaining about parking issues and she said that's when Sharon told her that she wasn't coming, she and Jay would just grab some burgers. I got the impression it was in the evening (maybe early evening) since the get-together was already going on. Not sure tho.

Side note: JS leased the house from actress Sally Forrest, who interestingly was in the film "While the City Sleeps", based on the 'Lipstick Killer'.

katie8753 said...

Who is JS? Jay Sebring? I thought he owned his house.

Hilary doesn't either.

Last night, I attempted typing Sebring numerous times, but the comment box insisted on changing it to some other last name. True, Jay Sebring leased it from actress Sally Forest. (It is Forest with 2 r's but won't let me do that either). Anyway, it is not easy to own property in such highly desired areas. Much of it got bought up in the thirties and forties, families held on to it, then leased it out for reliable income. Oftentimes, people would sign five year leases, extending and renegotiating them every five (or whatever) years. So, the "leaseez" (again will not let me type English?) may live there for decades. It is a different mindset.

wayward said...

Oh, anyway, I always found it somewhat unsettling since Sally "ForRest" was in the film about William Hierens -- the serial killer who left messages, at the homicide scenes, written in lipstick. Hence, the Lipstick Killer.

Wayward, the people who bought Jay's house said they bought it from Jay's family, I think back in 1970. How could they buy it from Jay's family if he didn't own it? The guy even went into detail about how they wanted to sell it to someone who didn't want to use it for shameless exhibition, they just wanted to sell it to someone who wanted the house.

Do you have any evidence to back this up?

I'm not sure what your trouble is typing in words.

katie8753 said...

I think that when Jay was living in the house he painted the walls black or something. Venus would remember a lot more about that than I do. But, I know from experience, if you're renting a home, apartment, duplex, whatever, you don't just start painting without permission. That comes with home ownership.

Also, I think those Gargoyles were incorporated when the house was originally built by Paul Bern.

Wow it seems that "other blog" is posting songs by the Lynyrd Skynyrd Band sung by Bobby Bourgeois, accompanied by that other killer Clem. What a tremendous performance.

NOT! HA HA.

Check it out....

katie8753 said...

How did Clem get out anyway? Oh yeah, he had an "Uncle Daddy Cousin". HA HA. It's too bad nobody else did. Including Tex. Tex had an "Uncle Daddy, Cousin In-law, Sister, Brother, Mommy, Daddy, Grandpappy" and he didn't get out. But they were stuck in Texas.

Too bad for Tex. If he had only stayed in Montgomery County and killed folks, he might be out now praying for forgiveness. Or whatnot.

Katie, Searing leased the house then bought it, so you are right.

Katie, the gargoyles are definitely from when the house was first built.
