I received an anonymous email this morning.  The gentleman writes in regards to an individual, who was included in Maury Terry's book.

As I've said in the past... I've never read Terry's book myself.  Consequently, I don't recognize the name.  But for those familiar with the book, he writes:

"My longtime friend, Phil Falcon, has died recently.  He was featured in chapter 13 of  'The Ultimate Evil'.  He was in no way a satanist, as I have known him".

Our sincere condolensces to Mr. Falcon's friends and family.

Maury Terry thought everyone was a Satanist.

I've never ran across the name "Phil Falcon" before, but considering the amount of rumors and speculation around this case, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if various reports of Satanism are inaccurate.

I am picking up Terry's book today at the library.

I read Terry's book years ago when it was first published. I think some of his theories are interesting and I wish some of those theories are explored by others. Terry was very popular in the media back in the day, but he lost me when he blamed every crime and every tragedy on Satanism.

Was Terry one of the forerunners of the so-called "Satanic Panic" or did he just hitch a ride on that particular train at a time when it had currency?
