Manson a Patsy?

A Mae Brussell Broadcast From October 13, 1971.

Mae was known as the queen of conspiracy research. She had a radio show on KLRB starting in June of 1971. Her theory is that Manson was a patsy created by the government to bring down the hippie movement. Mae can ramble on a bit, so you can fast forward to twenty minutes in (to get to the Manson stuff).

I can't say I agree with anything she says here. I just think it's interesting, that someone is taking this tack in 1971, right after the trial. I think Mae was a bit of a nut.... but she was a true original.

Some info on Mae Brussell:
Mae appeared as a guest on KLRB, a local FM radio station independently owned by Mr. and Mrs. Bob and Gloria Barron. Mae discussed her views on political assassinations and the New York Times release of the Pentagon Papers.

There were times when death threats forced Mae off the air -- one time by Charlie Manson family member Sandra Good in September 1975.

At one point Mae resorted to recording her shows at home on her small General Electric cassette tape recorder and privately mailed out copies to her subscribers. In 1983 Mae's show moved to KAZU in Pacific Grove and there it stayed until her last broadcast (#862) on June 13, 1988. On October 3rd of that year, at age 66, Mae died of cancer.

Mae talks three topics at one time. She has trouble focusing on anything. She'll be on a good thread and then fly into that CIA, FBI crap. I think she could confuse even Manson.

BTW I loved it when Jason Freemon, Charlie's grandson, said he hung up on Charlie for preaching to him.

I think Mae was doing the "horizontal Mamba" with Manson prior to 1969.

"Pretend I'm yer Daddy". LOL

thanks Beauder
she was a legend and when one looks at the body of her work it is staggering.
she would do well today with the Coast to Coast aka 'ghost to ghost' fans of Art Bell, George Noory, et al.

if you have to drive at 2 am she is fun to listen to.

I think she's a loon. If you follow along long enough you discover that virtually every major event of the 19th and 20th century are all just part of one vast government conspiracy.

I met Mae during my JFK days. By today's designations Mae was seriously bi-polar (go see Silver Lining Playbook for a fairly accurate depiction of bi-polar behavior). Mae was a trip but highly entertaining if you had the time and patience.

I think the JFK killing is what got her started off on the whole conspiracy thing.
She was a housewife when She bought herself the Warren Report and from there it was off to the races.
The Youtube Channel this Video comes from has a ton of Her other shows....I think the Channels called conspiracyscope.
